FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Can I take pictures in the orchard?
A: Yes! We would love to share the beauty and fun of our orchard with you. We only ask that you please call prior to scheduling your photo shoot so that we can give you appropriate instructions. We also ask that you please fill out our waiver form and pay the $30.00 fee.
Q: Can I pick my own fruit?
A: No. Due to liability issues we do not allow you to pick your own fruit in our orchard. But please come and visit our fruit stand where we have already done all of the work for you!
Q: When will my favorite kind of fruit be available in the fruit stand?
A: We have provided general guidelines as to when harvest time is for all of the fruits that we sell on our harvest page. We also update our facebook page frequently as to the more specific dates that certain fruits will be available. And of course, feel free to call us during our operational hours if you are still unclear! (801-225-3722)
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, check, debit, and all major credit cards. However, we do not however accept food stamps or food cards.
Q: When are you open for the season and what are your hours?
A: We typically will open mid August and are open until Christmas time. For 2019 our hours are M-F: 10:00am-6:00pm and Sat: 10:00am-5:00pm. Visit our facebook page for yearly specific information.
Q: When canning, how many quarts do you get per box of fruit?
A: For peaches and pears you get about 12 quarts per box (one box is a half bushel). For tomatoes you get about 10 quarts per box. For applesauce you get about 14 pints per box.
Q: Is your apple juice pasteurized and when will it be available?
A: No. We do not pasteurize our juice. However, it is made in an extremely sanitary environment. We start pressing it around Halloween time and depending on the year, we usually have it through Christmas. Please call and place an order if you would like to purchase more than 6 at a time.
